She was preceded in death by her parents.
She leaves to cherish her memory; two daughters, Latasha and Tamica Carpenter of Marshall, TX; one son, Leslie Chalmers Jr. (Mesha) of Dallas, TX;. two sisters, Ruby Stewart and Phyllis Hall both of Shreveport, LA; two brothers, Terry Hector and Rickey Jackson of Shreveport, LA; one stepbrother, Jessie Brightman Jr. (TeQuice) of Marshall, TX; one godson, Eulius Reed of Marshall, TX; two godsister’s, Thelma Robinson and Latonya Robinson; grandchildren, Quantravious Miles, Zakira Carpenter, Ka’Miya Chalmers, special grandchildren, Ja’Niya Ward, Nekera Ward and Shantivia Starling; two great-grandchildren, Amira and Amaya Miles; special cousins; Rachel Hill, Carroll Hodge and Willie C. Campbell; best friend’s, Betty Jo Stoker and Stella Chaney; a special stepfather, Mr. Jessie Brightman Sr.; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
