Raymond Charles Jackson was born in Waskom, Texas on Oct 19, 1954, to the late John D. Jackson and Maggie Andrews Jackson of Waskom, Texas.

Raymond attended school in Waskom, Texas. He worked as a laborer at MISD Janitorial until his health failed. At an early age he joined New Hope Baptist Church, Scottsville TX. God called Raymond from labor to reward on Sept.2, 2022 surrounded by his loving family at Christus Good Shephard in Marshall, TX.

Raymond "Ring" Jackson was proceeded in death by his parents, John D. Jackson and Maggie Andrews Jackson; three sisters, Rosie Mae Jackson, Gladys Jackson and Geneva Jackson; and four brothers, John E Jackson, Herman L. Jackson, John H. Jackson and Willie E. Jackson.

Raymond Charles Jackson left an unfillable void but also leaves many heartfelt and cherished memories. He is survived by his loving friend of 28 years, Bobbie Nell Willie; one daughter, Cretia Hall; two sons, Romund Hall and Anzetta Thomas all of Marshall TX; two grandchildren, Troyvion Cole and R'mund Hall; a special nephew raised as a brother, Michael (Misty) Griffin; six step-children, Artra (Lonnie) Willie, Leola Willie, Nicholas (Lonzetta) Willie, Christopher Willie, Morris Willie and Alphadel (Leetta) McKee all of Marshall, TX; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
