Life’s Reflections of Pamela Whitt

Pamela was born on September 22, 1954 to Verlena Craven and Willie Craven. She was taken from our midst on Thursday, January 7, 2021. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family.

As a young lady, she would give birth to seven children and raise them well. She was a retired wife, housekeeper, mother and grandmother. Some of Pamela’s greatest enjoyment was sitting in her yard laughing with her family and friends. She is a person that welcomed everyone in the neighborhood to her company with love regardless of race, background or gender. Pamela was so full of joy and always kept a smile on her face and loved absolutely everyone. She was a natural peace maker in which you could always count on. What will be missed the most is her ability to bring laughter into any atmosphere. If there was ever a sad day in which you were looking for something as simple as a hug, you could always count on Pamela.

Pamela Whitt is preceded in death by her late husband, Tommy Whitt. She will now reunite with her brothers, Terry Sparkman and Leon Craven in heaven. She is cherished and will be greatly missed by her sons, Phillip Redwine, Kerry Sherow, Cedrick Sherow and Monta Sherow; daughters, Vernetta Redwine, Katrena Alford and Felecia Evans; sisters, Tammy Lewis, Barbara Sparkman, and Bertha Butler; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. All of whom she loved and touched deeply.
