Lance Lamar, Sr. was born to Leonard Lloyd Allen and Gloria Jean Butler Allen on January 12, 1960 in Winnfield, Louisiana.
Following high school graduation, he pursued a career in mechanics. After living in New Mexico for many years, he moved to Harleton, Texas to retire and be closer to his family. When not working, he enjoyed relaxing in his leisure time.
He is preceded in death by his father, Leonard Allen; and brothers, Lex Allen and Link Allen.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Trease Allen; son, Lance Lamar Allen, Jr. and wife, Heather; daughter, Mahaley Lowery and husband, Robert; sister, Vickie McDaniels; brother, Lacy Allen; 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.
