Mr. Jodie Jermaine Allen Sr., known to many as “boogie” was born December 30, 1982 in Marshall, Texas to Caesar Lynn Fisher and Marjorie (James Durham Jr.) Allen.
At an early age, he accepted Christ in his life and attended services with his family at Greater Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Marshall.
“Boogie” was educated in Houston public schools and completed trade school for engineering. He was employed at Blue Steel in Houston, Texas.
Jodie had a humorous and nurturing spirit. He treasured his family and embraced every moment with them. He loved animals, especially his pit bull dogs, had a vivacious personality and an infectious sense of humor. In his pastime, Jodie enjoyed horse trail rides with his local riding club and the exhilaration of the open road atop his motorcycle. Boogie considered himself a master chef. He was a pro when it came to blending seasonings for some of his favorite dishes such as shrimp kobobs and barbecue. Jodie Allen Sr. was loved by so many people. The memory of his warm hearted personality will be forever treasured.
He was preceded in death by a paternal grandmother, Bobbie J. Fisher.
He leaves to cherish his life, legacy and mourn his passing; parents, Marjorie Allen (James Durham Jr.) and Caesar Lynn Fisher; children, De’veonte Jermaine Allen, Jada Jena Allen, Jakia Mona Allen, Makenzie Foster (Allen), Jalajah Tena Allen, Ja’Myrean Jermaine Allen, Jodie Jermaine Allen Jr., Jodie Jermaine Allen “Trey”, Kennedy Janae Allen, Jalayah Navae Allen and Donae Harleston “Chucky”; a sister, Marquise Fisher; step-brothers, Ty-Shawn Fisher, Avis Fisher, Michael Fisher, and Ashton Fisher; favorite aunts, Otha Williams, Laverine Allen, Anna Meems, Sylvia Dominquize, Marie Allen and Linda Fisher; favorite uncles, Larry Tamplin, Andrew Green Sr., Tony B. Davis, Kelvin Fisher and Curtis Johnson; special friend, Charlotte Johnson; homeboy, Hakieem “Miami” Muhammad; a host of other relatives and friends.
