Helen Louise Schumpert Stephens was born December 8, 1959, in Waskom, Texas to her beloved parents Sandy and Euradell Douglas Schumpert. Helen grew up in Waskom, TX where she attended Carey M. Abney High School.
She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at New Boggy Baptist Church.
Helen was united in holy matrimony on September 6, 1976, to Floyd L. Stephens, Sr. To this union, one child was born.
Helen departed this life on August 29, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eury Dell and Sandy Schumpert; son, Floyd L Stephens Jr; brothers, Gene Isaac and Floyd Schumpert Sr; sisters, Betty Okray and Gladys Perkins.
She leaves to cherish her memory a loving husband, Floyd L. Stephens Sr; 4 brothers, Mac Sloan (Faye), Otis Douglas (Charlotte), Henderson Schumpert, Charles Schumpert all of Dallas, TX; 7 sisters, Maxine Mosley, Euradean Jackson, Ernestine Smith, Susie Burks of Dallas, TX; Wanda Mosley (Billy) of Farmers Branch, TX, Lubertha Lindsey and JoAnn Schumpert of Shreveport, LA; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
