Obituary for Don Durden
On January 26, 1958, Don Earl Durden was born in Jefferson, Texas to Verdis Durden and Ocellia Graham Durden.
He accepted Christ at a young age with Morning Star Baptist Church. He graduated from Jefferson High School in May 1977. He was an auto mechanic worker before his health started failing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Verdis and Ocellia Durden; brothers, Robert, James, David, Johnny, and Ephian Durden; and sister, Verdis Clark.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories his siblings, Addie Mae Williams, John L. Durden, Rosie Smith, Beverly Harris (Roger), Edward Durden (Wanda), Bobby Durden (Mary), Oddice Durden (Juana), Della Lamb (Matthew), Lisa Durden (Lloyd), and Sarah Figures (Rickie); several God children whom he loved as his own, a host of nieces, nephews, special cousins, and friends.
