Delois Fisher Anderson was born to Ozee Fisher and Elizabeth McCowan Fisher on March 11, 1939 in Marshall, Harrison County, Texas and transitioned on July 21, 2021.

Delos was a lovable character, a person everyone chose to have as a friend and was willing to be a friend to all. She never pushed herself forward, but always stayed in the background doing whatever she was called upon to do. She lived her life doing good for others. During her months of illness, she leaned heavily on the Lord.

Delois was preceded in death by her parents, father, Ozee Fisher, Sr., and mother, Elizabeth McCowan Fisher; brothers, Ozee Fisher, Jr., Jesse Fisher, Sr., and sister, Brenda Camey.

She is survived by one son, Jimmy Fisher and one brother, Leroy Fisher, (Bettye), all of Marshall, Texas; two grandchildren, Jimmy Fisher, Jr. and Britney Fisher; three great-grandchildren, Jasmine Fisher, Chris Fisher, and Jimena Fisher; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

We will not mourn her passing, but will rejoice that she has gone to a home more beautiful than any we have known.
