Obituary for Annie King

Sister Annie Jewel Dixon King was born on May 29, 1948 to Richard and Callie Greer Dixon. She was married to Johnny Lee King.

She united with the Edwards Chapel Missionary Baptist Church many years ago and remained a member until her health failed. She was a faithful member of Women of Destiny.

She graduated from H.B. Pemberton High School. Annie was employed by Lewis Engineering, Brookshire Bakery and retired from Pizza Hut food service.

She enjoyed softball, crossword puzzles, cooking, watching the Dallas Cowboys and listening to Johnny Taylor.

Annie was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Clarence Mollice, Alvin Lane, Oliver Dixon, Wilson Dixon, Richard Dixon Jr.; sisters, Mary Dixon Crawford, and Eloise Dixon.

Left to cherish her memory is a devoted daughter, Devonnia Dixon; granddaughter LaToyriah Dixon; great-grandchildren, Carter and Chelcee; sister, Shirley Jean Dixon; brothers, Robert Dixon and Charles Dixon; nephew, Stanley Dixon; special cousin, Betty Stoker; special friends, Loretta Gregory, Bertha Knighten and Mary Jo Haggerty; a host of other nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
