Obituary for Alton LeBruce Jr.
Mr. Alton Bynum LeBruce Jr., son of the late Alton Bynum LeBruce Sr. and Viola Rollins LeBruce, was born October 13, 1938 in Marshall, Texas.
At an early age, he united with the Church of Christ. He was educated in the Harrison County Public Schools. He worked for Ackardson Pipe for 24 years and retired, he also worked for the Marshall Independent School District and retired.
Mr. Alton Bynum LeBruce Jr. departed this life on Monday, January 23, 2023 at the Heritage House in Marshall, Texas.
He was preceded in death by three siblings, Theophulis Brown, Mary Louise Brown Jackson and Thomas LeBruce.
Those left to mourn his passing: a sister, Josephine Elam of Dallas, Texas; Three sons, Larry LeBruce (Trisha), Gerald LeBruce (Karen), and Dwight Collier; three daughters, Sybil LeBruce Steele (Duane), Vicki Jones and Juanice LeBruce Brice; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; four nieces, Rudie Barnett (Adolphus), Brenda Braggs (Ronnie), Riva Moore and Terri LeBruce; four nephews, Jerry Jackson (deceased), Ronald Jackson, Otha Sandifer Sr. (deceased), and Versey Elam Jr.; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
